Manufacturing Growth Programme
The Manufacturing Growth Programme was the UKs largest and leading business support programme making improvements to Manufacturing SMEs. Since October 2016, the programme has supported more than 2,000 SME manufacturers to grow and create more than 3,200 new jobs through £10.5m from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). In April 2019, an additional £11.8m ERDF was provided to the programme to deliver business growth support across 16 Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) regions. As a result, MGP delivered a further 2,500 improvement projects and created an additional 2,500 new jobs whilst supporting businesses to create new products, open new markets, become more competitive, and ultimately increasing productivity.
Pro Enviro worked with clients to establish the best options available to improve their business performance and then identified funding opportunities that exist within their area to support the improvement activity.
Examples of support programmes that have supported clients to obtain funding from in recent months include the Manufacturing Growth Programme, Low Carbon Opportunities Programme and the Coventry and Warwickshire Green Business Programme. Each of these programmes, and others around the country, have different eligibility criteria and provide support for different activities at different levels. Pro Enviro worked with the organisations involved to ensure that any application for support matched the program's criteria as closely as possible to improve the applications effectiveness and help ensure that the support is secured.
