The Shropshire Energy Programme supports local businesses in reducing energy consumption and costs.

The programme provides access to free expert energy advice, decarbonisation reviews, tailored carbon reduction plans, customised to meet the unique needs of your business.

Registration is open until the end of April 2026, grant funding available on a first come first serve basis.

The Shropshire Energy Programme can help you to:

Gain a better understanding of your carbon emissions
Understand how to use energy more efficiently
Outline of where cost savings can be made
Receive expert advice on your best steps forward

Eligibility Criteria:

Pay business rates to Shropshire Council
A small/medium size enterprise including limited businesses (SMEs)
A sole trader or partnership
Trading over 12 months

The Shropshire Energy Programme can also offer grant funding to invest in energy saving technologies. Grant funding is limited and administered on a first come, first served basis.

The energy and decarbonisation reviews are conducted by specialist consultants Pro Enviro Ltd.
