Over the past few years, our partnership with Pro Enviro has been instrumental in advancing our decarbonisation strategy and sustainability goals. Their Energy and Carbon Portal (ECP) has provided us with a robust platform for monitoring, analysing, and optimising our energy consumption across operations. The insights gained through the ECP are enabling us to make informed decisions that focus on reducing our carbon footprint and improving our operational and energy efficiency.
Pro Enviro’s technical and management support has enabled us to progress in area where we lacked expertise and knowledge. Their team conducted detailed feasibility studies at our manufacturingmsite, introduced micro-metering of all our energy-intensive equipment to be able to measure changes made and test different approaches. These studies formed the foundation of a comprehensive Low Carbon Process Optimisation Strategy, which we are in the process of working through and implementing with measurable success criteria. Their guidance also enabled us to access funding for the implementation phase, ensuring that our sustainability initiatives were both financially viable and technically sound.
In addition, the solar PV feasibility and financial analysis report prepared by Pro Enviro demonstrated a clear pathway to long-term electricity savings and carbon reduction. The projected internal rate of return and amortisation period outlined in the report gave us the confidence to proceed with the investment, which is now almost ready to connect.
