Staffordshire Low Carbon Business Evolution Programme (LCBEP)

The Low Carbon Business Evolution Programme is a European Regional Development Funded project that supports eligible business to reduce their carbon footprint and increase energy efficiency across Stoke on Trent & Staffordshire LEP areas. sben has made it their mission to support organisations to achieve long term sustainability and maximise business opportunities through innovative environmental activity.

Eligibility

Be situated in and trading from Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire LEP area
Employ Fewer than 250 Full time Employees
Turnover of less than €50 million or a balance sheet of less than €43 million
Primarily trade business to business
Industries such as primary agriculture, retail, education facilities, social welfare, education facilities, banking and insurance are not eligible for support
Spend more than £3,000 a year on energy

Funding

60% of the cost of energy or resource saving projects with grant funding between £2,000 and £20,000 dependent on the amount of carbon tonnes saved.

Any project that delivers a carbon saving can be considered, typical projects include:

Energy Efficient LED Lighting
Energy Efficient Heating
Destratification Fans
Heat Recovery
Water Efficient Devices
Insulation Improvements
Replacement of old and inefficient machinery
Variable speed drives
